Oh Istanbul !

I suppose to go Turkey last year but could not make it, so l told myself, l must go by this year.

We flew from Cairo, at the airport, we met three Japanese girls from the festival, they were travelling to Istanbul too, one of them has been there many times, so we followed them to search for accomodation after arriving in Istanbul. We managed to get a room in a hostel at Sultanahmet.

You know, it is such a huge difference, after so many dusty days in Cairo, suddenly we saw sunshine, fresh air, greenish enviroment and blue sky, l was very excited when arriving in Istanbul, this is a place where l wanted to go from long time ago.......

After checked in to the hostel, we walked out to the main road and then we realised, we just stayed behind the Blue Mosque! Oh God, l was so excited!

Blue Mosque is not in blue colour--from the outlook, the name is from its beautiful interior blue ottoman tile works, this mosque is 399 years old and it is an example of classical Turkish architecture, it is the only mosque that was originally built with six minarets. The night view of the mosque is beautiful enough to remind me of the story Aladdin......
