I love Tribal
I just came back from KL for Nigma's tribal workshop--stage 2.
I learnt a lot from this workshop and enjoyed it very much. This time, Nigma did a routine for us, which can be used for a solo or duet dance. Honestly, l did not enjoy her first workshop as she spent too much time in theory, l know theory is important especially in tribal this spiritual dance, but.....it was a bit bored and she has done too much repetition. But this time, she killed us with the practical and it was so challenging because we have to dance with zill, but l really love it! I am so excited to explore something new, and l think, l have caught up the attitude of tribal dance from this workshop, thanks Nigma!
My poor legs are very pain and tired now, they have done too much work recently. Forgot to mention, l fell down in Egypt when visiting Citadel, my right knee and left heel were injured and they have actually been injured long long time ago. I could not take rest after falling down as have to attend workshops and perfomed,,my both legs swelled after few days, they have not recovered when coming back, sigh.....again l burden them in tribal's workshop.....cannot take rest now as busy practising for this Friday 's performance at E&O. Oh pray hard for my poor legs now!
Many people asked me when to start teaching tribal in Penang, hmm.....l am not good enough in tribal yet, there is a long way to go. But l will start a basic tribal class soon, would love to share this beautiful art with Penang ' s belly dance enthusiasts.
